IC 6066 sb on east bank of LA River from Olympic Blvd Bridge  Contributor's Pick!
While we have lots of run-through power here in LA, this is the first IC unit I've personally ever seen. IC 6066 began life as a SD40 on Gulf, Mobile & Ohio (#917) in 1966. The moniker SD40-2R comes from the VMV Paducah Shops, which rewired it to Dash-2 electrical standards in 1995. The unit's dynamic brakes (and its blister) were removed at that time too.
