The New Haven Railroad ordered ten railbuses from Mack Trucks built in 1954. They were later sold, with some ending up at Sperry as inspection railcars. 15 was sold to Remington Arms in April 1962 and used at its Bridgeport plant as an industrial shuttle before sold to Sperry in July 1985 for parts for its other Mack railcars. Sperry donated New Haven 15 to the Danbury Railway Museum in September 1996, awaiting restoration. |
