Gaugler oils D16sb steam engine built at Juniata Shop, Altoona, in 1905." Pennsylvania Railroad engine #1223 is a D-16SB (4-4-0) "American" built in Juniata during November of 1905 that's presently on display at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania in Strasburg. Also depicted are Strasburg Rail Road 0-6-0 switcher #31 and the Cumberland Valley Railroad's "Pioneer." |
