Field Fire
Seen here the signals at North Dupo was a huge blaze that started in a field and quickly expanded to a 2 square mile fire. It got within 200 yards of the yard, and a couple small fires were immediately adjacent to the yard itself. In fact, a fire truck had to use the UP access road to put it out. 14 Fire Departments in all responded and got it under control in 2 hours with no injuries and no loss of life or property. One mobile home park was evacuated for a few hours.
