| This is the first of many shots that will over time, chronical the building of the new double track bridge at Quantico Creek, at Quantico, VA. This is a project of CSX, VRE and the Commonwealth of Virginia. This is the second project in a long line that will lead to triple tracking the RF&P Sub from Washington to Fredericksburg and possibly Richmond. This view is looking north from the Quantico train station. The signals are located at the switch bringing 2 tracks into one to cross the existing single track bridge. Possum Point power plant is in the background. New bridge will be located to the left of signals. |
