Pullman/Union Pacific 10-6 sleeper Pacific Island. Part of a 50-car order of sleepers with ten roomettes and six double bedrooms built by Pullman between 1949–1950, called the Pacific Series. Some of them were later sold to Milwaukee Road, and a bunch went on to have a career with Amtrak. It was at one point renamed to Mt. Vernon during it's private ownership but has since regained it's original name and is now owned by Adios Rail |
