Union Pacific cupola caboose 25256 displays the "America, Were Pulling For You" slogan coined sometime in the 70s. Union Pacific 25256 was built in 1952 as their 3856, before being renumbered to the 25256 in the late 50s. The caboose came to the California State Railroad Museum in the 70s-80s. In the background is the I Street Bridge, which carries the current UP (ex-SP) main over the Sacramento River into the Sacramento Valley Station (out of frame to the right). |
