I heard this train from the house, and beat it down to Westville to get a shot. Normally, at this time of day-6 PM-the sun would be low and golden. This summers western wildfires-there are currently over five million acres burning across the west, mostly in California, Oregon, and Washington-have sent up a pall of smoke that has now reached across the country, dimming the sun, and making for drab photos. Southbound TXUX train passes the edge of the athletic complex. |
