PRR 9615, AF-16, 1963         
Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by of a photo by William D. Volkmer that was taken near Chicago, Illinois, on 23 June 1963. Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9615 and five more units whose numbers are not recorded: one ALCo "AF" Class B-unit, one GM-EMD "EF" Class A-unit, as well as three GM-EMD AF-25's. #9615 is an AF-16 built by the American Locomotive Company in May of 1951, rated at 1,600 HP, and retired in July of 1966.
