| It is late on a fine Saturday morning on the last day in September of 2006, and the daily TC&W Saint Paul turn is packing some serious motive power! TC&W GP30C 4301 is leading a Red River Valley and Western GP15C, and a TCW GP20 and GP30C as the hogger nurses his train past St. Anthony junction and the Minnesota Commercial yard. Note UP's east Minneapolis Yard (which used to be bigger in C&NW days. Way bigger, as I fondly recall from my childhood in the 1980's) in the center distance. |
