| Stations. Here is an original photo that I took of Penn Central Railroad property during June of 1973. In this view looking West from the 12th Street Bridge, what will become the new 10th Avenue Expressway's retaining wall is being constructed. What will become the new Transportation Hub is visible on the right; it will occupy the space once occupied by the Pennsylvania Railroad's Passenger Station. The 17th Street Bridge and the now-abandoned PRR Test Plant are also visible in the distance. |
