Little Lake Butte des Morts and the former C&NW bridge, now the Friendship Trail (often referred to as the Trestle Trail), are visible in the background. The defunct and partially demolished Fox Valley Energy Center (formerly Minergy Fox Valley Glass Aggregate Plant) is on the right. Opened in Jan. '98, it has stood idle since 15 Jun. '13. The demolition has been on hold for a several weeks due to a contract dispute between the owner and the demolition contractor. |
