Gary L General Stoppint wasn't... No air brakes meant trains had upwards of 10+ brakemen! Whistle "DOWN BRAKES" and they would run to tie down hand brakes. 2000+ T&E employees killed on the railroad in 1899. 1/8/2015 8:57:55 AM
