| This unit was involved in the July 2012 collision at the Mulberry, MO interlocking when the northbound KCS manifest it was leading plowed into the side of a northbound (geographically westbound) BNSF coal empty after running a signal. The engine was repaired at Midwest Locomotive in Kansas City, and then moved up here to Mid-America Car for further work and new paint, which sticks out like a sore thumb. |
