Jeffrey Bicht General Thanks, the only diesel book I have only goes up to 1972 and the latest GP is a GP 38. How do you tell the difference between a GP 38 and a GP 40? 3/26/2006 6:00:14 PM
William Grimes General The GP40 is longer and has 3 radiator fans at the back, the GP38 only has two radiator fans at the back. The GP40 also has one turbocharger stack. 3/26/2006 7:48:21 PM
