HOLDENVILLE OK July 10 1978 -- Frisco GP35 725 has cut off from its train and moved south of the Rock Island crossing. The locos stopped at this location to meet a Holdenville Fire Department grass fire rig and fire department personnel so a Frisco crewman can use water from a handy fire hydrant. EMD built the 725 in April 1965. After the merger with BN it became BN 2575. It was retired in July 1985. (Roster information from www.trainpix.com) |
