| Mechanical Foreman Henry Krening polishes a new bearing for the 844's right side 3rd driver side rod journal. The old one seized up during yesterday's trip into Kansas City, and this new one was fabricated by a machine shop here in Kansas City today. It was a close fit, but still needed .02" taken off, a process that would take another 2 hours back in the tool car. |
