The old Santa Fe mailbox at the Raton depot, with its door open due to a strong wind of up to 50 mph, stands lonely alongside the equally lonely Raton Yard, which contains a single ex-BN geep to be used later on the irregular M-RTNRTN and a small assortment of cars (mostly baretables) that represent what remains of freight traffic on the nearly dormant Raton Subdivision through here. |
