The coal power was taken off at Lincoln and replaced with GP40 3014 and GP40X 3035 to comply with the 4-axle locomotive requirement on the Palmer Branch due to track condition. Three coal trains will fit on the Palmer Branch. Two trains were already in storage on the branch before the E-PDEGJC9-02 arrived so this train (104 empties) will take the third spot. This view is of the light power in the process of running around their train at Aurora as the switch to the Palmer Branch opens to the East.
