Album Info:Montreal Terminals is the name given by CP to the operations on the island of Montreal (Qc), notably the yards and old Angus Shops.

Title:  Trackside building near Hochelaga
Description:  Near CP Hochelaga Yard, Shawnigan Water & Power plant was built alongside the CN track on Orleans Street, following its curve. The track was removed in the late 1990s and the building has now also been demolished. Nothing unfortunately remains of the area's glorious railway past.

Description:  In the late 1800s and early 1900s, Canadian Pacifics Hochelaga Yard used to be set in the middle of the slaughter houses district of Montreal. Only this building is left next to the yard on Moreau Street. It was built between 1898 and 1907 as the CP freight office.

Title:  Montreal Locomotive Works
Description:  The newest part of Montreal Locomotive Works (MLW, once a subsidiary of Alco) plant at the corner of Dickson and Notre-Dame streets. The so-called Montreal Big Alcos were built here. The rest of the plant was destroyed in a major fire in July 2002.
