AM C420 #420 - Arkansas & Missouri |
Description: |
Originally built by Alco in July of 1966 as Lehigh & Hudson #29, it was picked up by Delaware & Hudson as their #401 but renumbered 420. Arkansas & Missouri purchased it. According to a note on the slide, the loco was used for parts but Matt Giardino (see comment below) identifies this as A&M 58 and was NOT used for parts. Thanks, Matt, for the correction. It's appreciated! The photo was taken by a rail fan listed as Mr. Jones. |
