Album Info:Shots taken at St. Denis, MD, during 2007. Why is this such a popular place for railfans? Because both the CSX Old Main and Capital subdivisions run through this small commuter (MARC) station. Tracks for the respective subdivisions split about 1/2 mile south of the station--the single-track Old Main heads west toward Point of Rocks, MD; the double-track Capital subdivision turns and runs atop the famous Thomas Viaduct, and then heads south to Washington, D.C.
